Without His Blessing

There will come a time for us all 

That this world will come to an end

When God lets that time happen

It will be too late to make an amend

Keep both your eyes and ears open

Read your Bible each and ever day

Do the right things and believe in God

Then find that Heaven will come your way

We may miss some of our old friends

Who foolishly didn’t listen to His word

They have now missed that opportunity

I wish they had listened and had heard

I know it is up to me to prepare for Heaven

I listen to what my blessed Lord has to say

Without His blessing for what I have done

Heaven is empty for me on judgement day
