Up In Heaven

Precious Lord hold on to my hand

Lead me in to your promised land

I will be yours throughout all eternity

In that land where we shall be free

Never will there be sadness or sorrow

There will no worries about tomorrow

In that great land God has made for us

There we will get to meet sweet Jesus

Never to see the darkness of a night

Because the Sun will always be bright

To our Savior we shall ever have love

He will always provide for us high above

No  broken promises would we ever find

A truthful God who is strict but ever kind

He has love for everyone that we can see

He made Heaven a home for you and me

Won’t Be Any Returns

Today may be the last chance you will get

To confess your sins to the good Lord above

Tell Him that in His promise you do believe

Know that He has filled your heart with love

Tomorrow may be too late for you to talk to Him

Your chance for Heaven may have vanished away

For not knowing that day death will take your life

Don’t you think you should on your knees pray

Time is never on our side so decide it this day

To let all of our tomorrows then be in His care

Obey all of His commandments and be judged

Remember each night to Him give a nice prayer

If these things don’t convince you, Heaven help you

You will find a climate that will be hot and it burns

It will then be too late to ask for the Lord’s help

For once you are lost there won't be any returns

Our Thanksgiving Dinner

As our family sits at the table today

We will ask our Lord to bless the food

A festive Holliday season has just begun

Everyone here is in a very joyous mood 

We have turkey and all the usual dressing

Mashed potatoes with mouth watering gravy

There is corn bread and lots of baked biscuits

Almost enough food to feed the whole Navy

For dessert I’ll have pumpkin pie with topping

Then it’s off to watch our favorite football team

It will take just a few minutes and I’ll be sleeping

My team will be winning but that is only a dream

As another Thanksgiving day is past and gone

We thank our God for giving us this grand day

May we all get together next year at this home

To enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner together I pray

Not Immune

Are we heading into perilous times

Will the world change as we know it

If that happens will it be better or bad

Will our economy take a serious hit

Will all the friendly countries desert us

Must then we face the world all alone

Will God then desert this free country

Will we then be left to care for our own

Think hard my friend about our future

For without God we will have no aid

This country then would cease to exist

Payment for our sins would be paid

If this country is to stand much longer

We must change our direction soon

Get down on our knees and then pray

Realizing this country is not immune

We All Will Adore

How could anyone reject Jesus

After what He has done for you

He died a horrible death that day

For your sins His life was through

He came to this Earth to save us

From a dreaded eternal life in hell

He said confess sins and repent

Your life in Heaven will be well

Everything up there will be great

You will see things never seen before

God has been precise with everything

Heaven is a place we all will adore

So say a prayer tonight before sleep

That Heaven would welcome you in

Then thank Jesus for what He did

Dying after taking on all of your sin

Your Pardon

If there is no tomorrow for me on the Earth

I will open my eyes and see a land of Gold

There I will again meet my Wonderful Lord

I will be up in Heaven I wont have to be told

There to see all the wonders God has made

Perfection in everything seen by these eyes

From the beautiful marble mansions we see

To the White beach of the river is no surprise

Wonders will not cease as we look around

Streets made from pure Gold is seen there

Not one cloud will ever be in Heaven’s sky

We will forever be in our loving God’s care

If you ever want to see all this beautiful land

You must confess your sin and then believe

Know Jesus is the way to that promised land

He died so a pardon for your sins you receive

He Will Give

If I stood on the world’s highest peak

I still wouldn’t be very close to Heaven

It is only through Jesus can we get there

If we follow Him our victory can be won

Son of God, only He can save our soul

He died on Earth to take our sin away

Show Him you love and will confess sin

Tonight, when before sleep you do pray

It is my hope you discover Jesus Christ

Before death in this world comes to you

He is our light and hope in this old world

It is with His love we will make it through

Never forget it was God who made you

It is in His eternal Kingdom we want to live

If we are a true follower of His teachings

Our eternal home in Heaven He will give

Promises He Made

What would you do if there was no Jesus

Your life would be filled with only disrepair

No hope would be in anything you have

There would be no one for which you care

No thoughts for a better life would there be

Only a shattered life could you ever expect

You would live in a world filled with sorrow

One in which you could never find respect

We can thank our God that there is a Jesus

He sent a baby that would take on all our sin 

Dying our death for the wages of sin is death

This Baby was Jesus greatest there has been 

He put hope in your life by promises He made

If you follow His commandments and do repent

He has made a home where you will ever live

In God’s kingdom your eternal life will be spent

His Mighty Word

When the flags are unfurled where will you be

As the drums sound for that first battle call there

To watch as the armies assemble to begin a war

That will end all of the war to be fought anywhere

Will you see the great White horse lead the battle

Will the sky light up from mighty explosions heard

Can you hear the roar far across the torn battlefield

Was this not predicted by God in His mighty word

This world as we now know it will never longer exist

What will stand in its place will only be known by God

Where beautiful flowers and other plants once stood

Will there be anything left but some ugly barren sod

Will you be in the group that God calls up to Heaven

Where you will not be involved in this very terrible war

Have you asked Jesus to forgive you of all your sins

Do you believe that He has a home for you ever more

I Will Shout

On that day that I ascend up to Heaven

I’ll walk with Jesus on the Golden shore

Tears will be in my eyes to an overflowing

Happiness will fill my heart for ever more

Dreams I had on Earth are just beginning

There’ll be beauty I could only think about

When I see our God sitting on His Throne

You are the great maker of us all I will shout

Angels we will hear as they are softly singing

Their harps they sweetly strum as they sing

As we listen to all this beautiful music today

Warmth into my heart I can feel it now bring

There’s no place as beautiful as God’s Heaven

After all He has been the creator of everything

He has saved the best for all our eyes to see

That first time that we are to meet God our king

Died For Your Sin

Never will I part from that glorious land

It shall be my home throughout eternity

Jesus has pardoned me of all my sins

He will do the same for you don’t you see

I confessed that I am a sinful soul to Jesus

As we walked down by the old garden gate

He told me of a place where there is no death

I thanked Him knowing that I wasn’t too late

My rewards will be given to me up in Heaven

Perhaps a crown with many beautiful jewels

Sadly so many people don’t believe in God

They will be condemned to hell and are fools

When we get to those gates that open Heaven

I hope they will open and you will be welcome in

Along with all my other friends I knew on Earth

Remember it was Jesus who died for your sin

Your Best Friend

Everything is written in God’s Holy Bible 

Although some things aren’t understood

Some people must read it over many times

Some do not read it at all like they should

If we start with Genesis and read it through

We will find with Revelation that ends it all

In between you will find how to get to Heaven

You can even read about that Jericho wall

Many things are revealed in that Holy book

It all started with Adam and Eve in the garden

They were the ones who committed the first sin

Then they had a son who killed another son

That Bible tells us what has and will happen

It tells us about the beginning and the end

It also tells you how you can live in Heaven

Where you can meet Jesus your best friend

Interesting Talk

When I meet my Savior up in Heaven

Tears will flow from my happy eyes

Knowing He saved this dreadful soul

He took all my sins and did not chastise

Though my sins were terrible and many

He forgave them the second I confessed

I shall ever be true to our loving Savior

For it was He told me that I am ever blest

I have no excuses for bad things I have done 

I confess them to you Lord as I cannot deny

As I know you are the wise Master knowing all

In this scrambled mind I do not know why

That path I walk on with my ever loving Savior

Sometimes becomes narrow and is hard to walk

When that happens I ask Him to rest a while

It is then we have a deep and interesting talk

Your Benefit

All my friends look up toward Jesus

His smiling face they all want to see

He died so they could go to Heaven

One day Jesus will see you and me

All the love around Him is contagious

Unlike it was for Him down on Earth

If we will follow His commandments

We will find that we will have a rebirth

He is a friend who died to save us all

Sent down to Earth He is now glorified

Forever I shall follow in His teachings

To our Blessed Savior I will ever abide

If you wish to see His teaching its easy

Pick up the Holy Bible and then read it

It will disclose things you never knew

Everything in it will be for your benefit
