Great To Know

As I meet Him my heart will surrender

Tears of happiness will begin to flow

Heaven is filled with so many wonders

My Heavenly Father is so great to know

He had come to me when I was ready

Wide eyed I listened to what he said

My friend your life now is not worthy

It was then it was a different life I led

Now as He talks a different view I see

He brought me back from a devils lie

Knowing that with Him life is forever

For I shall ascend to Heaven when I die

Yes Jesus rescued me from hell’s fire

Telling me the kind of life that i must live

Forever I shall be indebted to my Lord

Because of the wonderful life He did give

You Really Care

High in the sky there is a Heaven

It is a place where our Lord lives

He waits to see us gather there

An Eternal home for us He gives

Jesus on Earth died for our sins

He had said believe in me and live

Confess your sins and be saved

A never ending life to you I’ll give

What a wonderful feeling it gives

To know we have a friend Jesus

Only through Him heaven awaits

What a joy this friend gives to us

If you don’t know Him, you can

On your knees tell Him in prayer

That you love Him and will obey

That in your heart you really care

His Great Care

When I walk with Jesus on that Heavenly shore

So much beauty will unfold I never seen before

There will be fields filled with beautiful flowers

Castles of Ivory and Gold and so much more

He will take me by the hand and guide me there

Showing me every corner of His wonderful land

Never tiring as we walk the many miles He shows

Sweet music we will hear from His Heavenly band

There we will meet old friends we knew on Earth

Knowing we would not find miseries found there

That throughout all of Eternity Jesus will bless us

We shall forever have His love and His great care

Oh what a joy we will find when we get to Heaven

Every day we will find that day filled with sunshine

Everything will be perfection made by God’s hand

So much beauty in this land so beautiful and fine

The Greatest Friend

What a glorious day when we meet Jesus

Perfection shall prevail and love will grow

All sins will crumble away to be forgotten

He is the greatest friend you’ll ever know

Although life on Earth seems hard to bear

The thought of a greater life comes to mind

That day up in Heaven we get to see Jesus

Happiness forever is the promise we will find

He walks with us in both sickness and health

Never to leave those He finds that really believe

Waiting at Heavens portal to welcome us home

All troubled minds our Savior there will relieve

There will be a day we will feel the sting of death

What we do on Earth will determine where we go 

If you believe in God and that His Heaven is real

You will go there but if you don’t you will go below

My sister-in-law has passed on and  this is for her

Dottie

There will come a time when sorrow is past

A time when all pain will be gone and done

When we meet our Master up in His kingdom

There our problems we had will become none

To live in that Eternal City with our friend Jesus

Will be such a wonderful Eternal life for us to live

No worries will beset us because He is with us

What a beautiful home to us our Lord will give

We will walk on those Gold covered pathways

Feel the soft sand of the beaches we walk on

Always Jesus will be right there to show the way

Every day will show us a most beautiful dawn

Dottie has gone now and is in God’s Kingdom

God called her to brighten His Heavenly place

A peaceful life she shall eternally find up there

Forever to live in God’s gracious and Holy Grace
