What A Wonderful Land

To be in the arms of God is my desire

That time shall come one sweet day

When the portals of Heaven open up

I shall see Angels sing and harps play

Judgement will be read and rendered

Well done my good and faithful soul

You have entered into an eternal life

You are sin free and now you are whole

With tears of joy flooding down my face

I will fall on my knees in prayer for Him

Then thank my Savior for taking my sin

I then hear the Angels sing a pretty hymn

What a wonderful land our God has made

For all the believers in His wonderful word

He says this shall be my home in Heaven

Will be the greatest thing I have ever heard

Man Can’t Contradict

When the last note of the flute is played

The roll of the drum is never heard again

I shall walk through the garden with Him

My eternal life there in Heaven will begin

I will have walked the stairway to eternity

There to meet many friends I knew before

I will have a time meeting everyone of them

When seeing them we will have fun galore

When we all gather around God on that day

Angels will play their harps and sing a song

My heart will over flow with the love of it all

Love of my Savior has always been strong

Beauty of Heaven is more than I expected

God spared not one thing to make it perfect

His foresight is so much greater than a man

God has the power that man can’t contradict

Just As Our God Planned

As the silence of death comes to my Earthly body  Well done my child are the words I want to hear 

I shall know that I have found that place in Glory

To live there eternally in my Savior’s loving care

When the angels come and gather around me

They will take me to my home to see my Lord

That sweet comfort of knowing I am in Heaven

My eternal life with Jesus Christ in now assured

Then comes the Lord with many of his followers

They shall gather around and welcome me home

We shall sing songs of sweet admiration of Jesus

With new found friends, its not far that I will roam

Each day we will find the Glory of this Sanctuary

Nothing but kindness will be found in God’s land

There will always be the sweet smell of our victory

Everything there is perfect just as our God planned

You Are On Your Way

To be held in the arms of my Savior

Is the greatest desire I have today

I know I have been a sinful person

I ask Him to forgive me when I pray

I regret doing things my Lord detests

The sinful nature of man I know I had

The devil was always enticing my soul

Always trying to make me do things bad

How thankful I found love in my Savior

Now that devil has been chased away

Never will I every turn away from Him

I find I have more love for Him every day

If there is a void in your life you can’t bear

Turn you thoughts to Jesus Christ this day

He will show you the pathway up to Heaven

If you believe in Christ you are on your way

Walk With Me As I age

Will you walk with me as I age dear Lord

Show me the right road don’t let me veer

Should I miss even one turn help me out

Your voice is the one I always want to hear

Days walking with you are a pleasant time

I love to hear you talk about the Hereafter

Never is there a time I don’t hear your word

I love you Lord I know you are the true Master

I want all my friends to have a walk with you

I would hope they would listen to what you say

You could then walk that road with our Savior

You then could see the Hereafter one great day  

That day we get to walk with Him up in Heaven

Will be the most joyous that we could ever see

I would hope that you would be up there with us

We could walk and talk together just us three

Flawless

Warm days are now changing to cool nights

October has come to the beautiful Scioto valley

Mother nature is starting the show her colors

Our Master’s paintbrush is now flowing free

The Green leaves are now changing to colors

So much beauty they are hard to describe now

We can only imagine the beauty seen in Heaven

We know God will save the best colors somehow

We enjoy walking through the forest and looking

We can see ground squirrels scurrying all about

There are times we can see ginseng in patches

We are tempted to reach over and pull a sprout

The air is so fresh and the blue sky is calm this day

What a pleasure it is to to walk in natures quietness

This is one of the pleasures that God has give to us

 Everything God has made for us to see is flawless

Shawnee Forrest

So much beauty is seen in Shawnee Forest

October has come and leaves are changing

So many beautiful colors can now be seen

There are soft colors while others are blazing

We can see many colors in all their splendor

Each tree seems to have an image and color

Never will we see any two that are exactly alike

Some have small leaves others look much fuller

With Red, Yellow, Orange and shades in between 

Walking in this vast array of colors pleases the eye

We wish these wonderful colors would last forever

But each year has a cycle, and it God’s reason why

If you have the time drive down in this large forrest

Take your time plan to stay for the most of the day

You will love what you see in all of the lovely trees

If you are quiet you will see animals as they play

Rewards To Reap

When your day seems dark and gloomy

Call your savior in a prayer this very day

Confess your sins and ask forgiveness

As you fall down on your knees and pray

He will listen and hear your every word

As you tell Him in prayer of your love

There will be rewards to reap in Heaven

When you ascend into His city above

Jesus is the only reason that you go there

He came down to Earth to take your sin

Knowing that the penalty for sin is death

He died for you and Heaven you can get in

He is waiting for you at the Golden gate

Only through Jesus can you ever enter in

There He will open that eternal gate for you

Your life with our loving Savior will then begin

The Final Say

In your darkest moment He is with you

Never would He leave you by your self

His love surrounds you all of the time

You are much like a book up on a shelf

If tomorrow you should walk with Him

You will find that your day will be great

Just listen to everything He will tell you

One day He will meet you at Heaven’s gate

Through Jesus death He took our sins away

On that wooden cross He paid our death penalty

Then He ascended back to His home in Heaven

There He waits for all believers like you and me

When that time comes for us we do not know

Only God does know both the time and day

He will call us when He feels the time is ready

We know our Heavenly Father has the final say

Rewards In Heaven

If life was easy there is no doubt

God would have us born in Heaven

But we must face the trials of time

Show our place in Heaven is won

We must believe in the Holy Bible

For His word is written in that book

We must read what the scripture says

And not just occasionally take a look

We must tell Him through our worship

How we love and will follow Him forever

That we want a home in Heaven with Him

It is around His throne we want to gather

An eternal life can be ours if we follow Him

Ask him to forgive us of all of our past sins

Let Him know that you believe in His Holy word

You will then see the rewards in Heaven it wins

Forever Abide

We are all God’s little children

Loaned by Him to our parents

This loan is only a short time

Then from Earth our soul ascends

He brings us up to His Kingdom

Because we believe in His word

When you pray to our great Savior

Each and every word is heard

There to walk on streets of Gold

See our Lord walking by our side

Feel the love of our Heavenly Father

With Him you will forever abide

For us He has built a mansion

Where for all eternity we live

If we have earned us a crown

It will be a lovely one He’ll give

Walk And Talk

When this life on Earth is over and done

I want to walk all over Glory with my Lord

He will take me by the hand and guide me

I thank Him for giving me the faith restored

Every day in Heaven will be treasured by me

I will thank my savior on my knees in prayer

I will tell Him of this deep feeling in my heart

Of how His love makes my day seem brighter

So much beauty we will see entering Heaven

Sights that we could not fathom in our world

So many dazzling colors never seen before

So much beauty your eyes will be unfurled

If you want to see this most wonderful place

There is someone that you must have a talk 

He is by your side every minute of the day

With Him you can both talk and you can walk

You Shall Have A Rebirth

When we walk upon those streets in Glory

Happiness will be with us each and every day

It is there we will get to see our loving Savior

There we will fall down on our knees and pray

Every one we see there will radiate with joy

Gathering around God’s throne to worship

Our hearts will over flow with everlasting love

As we have new friends in great companionship

He will bring us all together there by the throne

We will hear that Angel band as they are playing

Some will sing as they play that beautiful music

While others are down on their knees praying

What a beautiful site we will see up in Heaven

Lovely colors we never saw down here on Earth

To be with all of the believers who knew Jesus

Your sins are pardoned you shall have a rebirth
