You Are My Anchor

What a glorious day when I meet Him

I will fall down on my knees and pray

Hear me oh my Lord as I beg to you

Cleanse my soul make my sin go away

You are the Savior that I have looked for

Only you can show me the way to Glory

This day I honor your name and beg you

To make a place there in Heaven for me

For you have the power do do anything

Your power is greater than anyone other

You are the divine being above all else

When I need any help you are my anchor 

I find so much love for my friend Jesus

Only He bring so much love to my heart

When it is time for me to go to Heaven

Once I meet Him there we never will part

He Took Our Sin

Yesterday is gone tomorrow may never come

We have never been assured of time on Earth

Only in Heaven our time is promised eternally

It is there we will know what our time is worth

It seems as if time has a way of slipping away

At times a week will pass and seem as a day

We enter middle age and it slips into old age

Life has a way like that it just seems to go away

One thing we need to not let slip away from us

Is the love for our Savior our Lord Jesus Christ

He once died for all of the sins we committed

He was put on a cross where He was sacrificed

It is through Him we reach our Heavenly home

He will meet us at a portal where He lets us in

Be one of those who know and love the Lord

Remember it was Jesus who took away our sin

Any Other Way

I want to walk those streets up in Glory

Have Savior Jesus walking by my side

Smell the freshness of God’s Holy City

That day I cross over that Great Divide

The beauty of Heaven will surprise us

See things we never thought of before

Yes there will be streets made of Gold

But there will be so very much more

There will be Blue skies never clouded 

It will be in a world that never sees dark

Songs will be sung by the winged angels

A special place made for a chariot to park

So much happiness will be seen up there 

Cherubs will be dancing as the violins play

Every one who lives up in Heaven has fun

God would never permit it any other way

Two Places

Have you met our Lord and Savior

He is the best friend you could find

Taking on your sins He died for you

Don’t let your love for Him be blind

You know it was He who made you

He wants to save your soul from hell

His home awaits you if you will listen

Talk to Him only for He is able to tell

If you believe and confess sin to Him

There is a beautiful home high above

He will welcome you with open arms

There you will find it is filled with love

When we leave this cruel world behind

There are but two places that we can go

Either you follow the word He has given

Or follow the devil to his hell down below

Most Beautiful Land

When I am in prayer with Jesus

He tells me of a future so great

In a place that is called Heaven

He will see me at a Golden Gate

When my time on Earth is over

A final test shows a victory won

It is then I shall ascend to Glory

My trip to Heaven shall be done

I will live throughout all eternity

In a home God prepared for me

See that beauty He made there

Most beautiful Land you ever see

Do not worry as I leave this Earth

It will be a much better place I go

Follow me and find comfort there

Find the best friend you will know
