All His Land

Have you talked to Jesus today

You know He hears every word

Listen intently for His is the truth

Pay attention to everything heard

You will hear of a place called Heaven

Where all believer will go to some day

There they will find a life that is eternal

Its where they find happiness every way

Where you can walk and talk with Jesus

Stroll with Him along the Golden strand

See all the beauty God has created there

In this the most hallowed of all of His land

Some day I will be with Jesus in Heaven

I will tell Him everything that is in my heart

He will smile for He knows it is my home

Once there He knows we shall never part

Springtime

Our trees are going to full leaf now

They hide the scars of a winter past

Mild temperatures of the springtime

Are simply great but they won't last

Beauty is seen as the Azaleas bloom

Tulips are still showing so much color

Redwood and dogwood are past bloom

Sun shines in a sky that is a pale azure

Isn’t it wonderful how God makes spring

Resurrecting life from a winter of death

Making things come alive with vibrance

Giving to everything a clean fresh breath

Of course He gives the other seasons peaks

I think springtime is the most remarkable of all 

Autumn has beauty in the leaves and are pretty

Still we know what happens after we see the fall

How Great He Is

I want to walk a hallowed path in Heaven

See my Lord and Master one bright day

Tell Him I love everything He stands for

Thank Him for taking all of my sins away

How great that He saved a sinner like me

When I was down and out He picked me up

Shed the stigmatism that surrounded my soul

Taught me to my God I must daily worship

Each day I search for words to say to Him

Knowing my words His ears are sure to hear

He listens intently as I tell Him I am a believer

Mine is a soul that to Him I will always lay bare

When I tread on those Golden streets in Heaven

I want Jesus to be right there walking by my side

I will thank Him for the goodness He has shown

Knowing it was for my sins He suffered and died

A Farmer’s Life

As the evening shadows lengthen

His work day has come to an end

Working on his farm brings him joy

His kids to college he is able to send

He thanks God for this opportunity

His loving wife is ever by his side

He thinks of how blessed he now is

A smile on his face shows the pride

Each day when the work is finished

He takes the time to have a prayer

He thanks our God who is in Heaven

For having things the way they are

When his farming days here are over

He wonders if in Heaven there is a farm

He would love to ride on his old tractor

Feel Heavens Sun on his bare arm

Victory Is Won

I want to wade in the water He walks on

Feel my feet touch that soft sand below

To be with my Lord and Savior I cherish

This is something I want my God to know

I know that I cannot be without Earthly sin

We all know the penalty for our sin is death

Jesus died because He took our sins away

He cleansed our souls with His last breath

It is death we must know to reach Heaven

On this Earth we are laid beneath the sod

We will then ascend to our heavenly home 

Where we shall then see our Savior, God

Confess your sins and believe in His word

If you want to see our Savior up in Heaven

When through the portal of His city you go

You will then know that your victory is won

A Dangerous World

With the world on the brink of disaster

We need to pray to our Lord each day

Ask Him to calm each and all situations

Until calmer heads can have had their say

So many countries having nuclear weapons

Has made this world a dangerous place to live

With some hot heads leading these countries

Orders to fire these weapons they might give

It may not be long until a hand hits the button

That sends a weapon flying high up in the air

Not realizing this could cause the world to end

They don’t know or maybe they don’t really care

We must pray for these hot heads to cool down

Put aside these weapons of mass destruction today

Let us all live in a world of peace and of harmony

This is what I will ask our God every time that I pray

He Will Answer

When the last breath has ebbed from my body

As these deafened ears of mine hear no more

When mortal life that was spent on Earth is over

I will walk with my Jesus along the Golden shore

No longer will I suffer the ravishes of Earth’s time

As the pure comfort Heaven affords shall be mine

Living in a land that God made with great perfection

Will make for me an eternal life that will be so divine

I know God has heard my prayers and He will answer

When I go before Him on that day judgement is heard

I want to hear His words well done my faithful servant 

It will be then I know my prayers have been answered

Although my life on Earth has been far from perfection

Jesus died on that old wooden cross as He took my sin

He also died for your sins on that day at Mount Calvary

So a new life with Him up in Heaven will one day begin

God’s Perfection

With the perfection God made this world

Should be plain for everyone of us to see

How by pollination He developed our fruit

We also got honey as it was done by a bee

We get rain to nourish the dry field in Summer

With water we see the grain fields as they grow

Beautiful are the surrounding hills in the summer 

Manicured lawns are so pretty just after we mow

God made our bodies with that great perfection

He gave us intelligence up to a very high degree

He gave us the way to populate and become many

Giving life to little babies like He did for you and me

If you don’t believe in God I pity you my dear friend

For every breath you get is given to you from Him

But if you are among the many who believe in God

You shall have a wonderful life that is proper and prim

Jesus Your Friend

If your road seems rough and rocky

Remember that Heaven is your goal

Jesus has paid the supreme sacrifice

He died to save mine and your soul

Keep looking ahead don’t look behind

It is the future we will need not the past

For He has told us that we will join Him

In His place where life will eternally last

If we heed His words and confess our sins

A glorious world awaits all that believe Him

If you do not believe in our blessed Savior

Living with Jesus Christ will be mighty dim

So keep on that road that leads to Heaven

Don’t stray, remember what waits at the end

Know you will be safe in our Saviors arms

You will get to see sweet Jesus your friend

God’s Plan

One day I will see those majestic mountains

Walk upon the beautiful shores of a seaside

Smell the purified air of this wonderful land

Listen to the magic made by the rolling tide

See all the perfection Heaven will show us

As we climb those steps to see our Savior

We had often wondered how Heaven was

When we get there we shall find the answer

We know there will be no imperfections there

God has built us homes of comfort and beauty

Homes which will last throughout all of eternity

A sanctuary of rest and comfort for you and me

We will leave a world that He had made perfect

Only to be soiled and destroyed by unthinking man

So now we must live in this old imperfect world

But perhaps this was another part of God’s plan

His Love I Feel

Never again shall I walk alone

Jesus will ever be by my side

He tells me that I am His own

I have nothing I need to hide

His love I feel and I am happy

Every day to Him I will be true

With Him I will live up in Heaven

So many friends will be there too

I was a sinner before I met Him

His words have changed my mind

I know now just how wrong I was

His talk was both gentle and kind

One day Heaven will be my home

No troubles will beset me up there

We will live throughout all eternity

Under our dear Savior’s tender care

Your Road

Will your road of life lead you up to Heaven

Or has the devil snared you along the way

Have you forgotten all about our dear Savior

Then you need to get on your knees and pray

Ask Him to guide you in overcoming the sins

Pray for forgiveness for things you did wrong

Tell Him you want to be in His eternal Kingdom

Knowing it’s God’s place and here you belong

Know the joy of being with our loving Savior

In that land where everything there is supreme

For all people that are living on this old Earth

Heaven is a place they have seen in a dream

Jesus is up there waiting for you at the portal

He will welcome you in with a wonderful smile

Knowing you have been a faithful servant to Him

For all of eternity Heaven shall be your domicile

Life

At night when I lay my head upon the pillow

I thank my God for giving me this kind of life

He has blessed me with many years of age

Most of all He has given me a wonderful wife

I think back to the years of when I was young

That was back in the height of the depression

For our supper would we get beans or potatoes

Or watered down gravy could be a concession

Although those years were lean God stood by us

Mother saw that we went to church ever Sunday

She scrubbed our ears and gave us clean clothes

We hurried home and changed so we could go play

We enjoyed those years and they brought happiness

As these Golden twilight years are bringing to us now

We recognize there have been mistakes in past years

But our faith in God will lead us up to Heaven anyhow

Where Shall We Go

When our life on Earth is over where shall we go

Have we followed the teachings of the Holy Bible

Ask for forgiveness for our trespasses and believe

Have we found a friend who loves us and is loyal

If you find that friend is Jesus you then are blessed

He gave His life that you might enter into His Realm

The very thought that you might get to be with Jesus

To people is a thought that would tend to overwhelm

When we get to Heaven we will see a magnificent site

Where skies will be blue and streets paved with Gold

Green meadows where larks will whistle a sweet tune

White sandy beach where our Savior has daily strolled

Days will be filled with songs from the Heavenly choir

While the angels harps are beautifully being strummed

We will sit and listen intently to all this wonderful music 

Then we thank God that for our sinful soul He ransomed
