Under Gods Care

Yesterday is gone and we may not see tomorrow

We have never been promised anything on Earth

God can give to you an everlasting life in Heaven

Study His teachings and prove you have the worth

Our God is a loving God who wants you in Heaven

But He has set some rules that you must try to obey

Some of these rules are very hard for us to keep

If we ask forgiveness He will take these sins away

Heaven is for believers who believe in Jesus Christ

They follow Him and know they are Heaven bound

While others don’t believe and will be going to hell

Unless before it is too late the truth they have found

That tomorrow may see us with Jesus up in Heaven

Where a new life will be given to everyone up there

God is a forgiving God and He loves all His children

He wants us all to be there in Heaven under Gods care

The Flock

Do not wander too far from the flock

For danger surely will come your way

You can be sure the devil is after you

He will waylay you its hard to get away

Your only way out then is with Jesus

He can break that devils viscous hold

Confess your sins to Jesus and believe

That is everything you need to be told

God watches over His flock every day

Some are hard to keep on a right line

But if they will listen to what God says

Everything for them will turn out fine

Turn your eyes to Heaven and thank Him

For everything that He has done for you

Tell Him in your prayers that you love Him

But first make sure that your love is true

Under His Care

When the final curtain is pulled

This Earthly life then will be over

A corpse of clay will be in a casket

The grave will be covered with clover

But the spirit will escape the casket

It will rise up and through the ground

We on Earth cannot see the spirit rise

It has left the grave and is Heaven bound

It will soon enter into that eternal City

Where it will get to see all that beauty

Meet with the one who saved it’s soul

Never shall it ever be tired or weary

If you would like to see Heaven one day

There is only one way that gets you there

Confess all your sins and believe in Him

Then Jesus will have you under His care

When I was around 8 years old we lived out in the country and had not hear of the northern lights.

What Was It

When the sky lights up in a purple plume

We search our souls to find the reason why

Is this some wild weather happening today

Or what causes these colors up in the sky

Amazed with what we see we are in wonder

The Purple colored clouds roll and sway about

As we all gather down at our neighbors house

Everyone is afraid to that there is no doubt

Although we did not realize just what we saw

In parts of the world it is a common occurrence

After the sky had returned to its normal color

We knew that was not some weather violence

When we heard the local news the next day

We found out this happens on certain nights

When the Sun hits the Northern ice cap right

It causes what we know as the Northern Lights

He Will Bless

As we struggle through this Earthly life

Many times we feel that we can’t go on

Then if we have a talk with our Savior

We will find those bad feelings are gone

If we listen to what He said and obey

His words will keep you going straight

If you ignore Him, you are on your own

No one will wait for you at Heavens gate

Mistakes we make and they are many

Each sin will be forgiven if we confess

It is God’s hope that we all go to Heaven

If we are worthy you will find He will bless

When the time comes and this life is over

Have you done things God wants you to do

If you have loved and understood His promise

Those Heavenly gates will let you go through

Ever Let It Be

If the end should come tomorrow

Do you know where you shall go

Will it be a place high in Heaven

Or could it be in a place far below

If you have talked to our dear Savior

The answer would be very clear to you

Knowing what He said and heeding Him

Heaven’s path is open and let’s you through

If we fail to do all the things He has said

Down another pathway we would slide

Into a world of hate and misery we would find

If to our Saviors word we would fail to abide

To me there is no question which way I choose

To be in Heaven would means so much to me

I will let the devil live in all of his misery forever

I know my faith in my God will ever let it be

He Did Give

He came to Earth to save us all

As baby Jesus born in a manger

Ready to take our sin as if His own

He realized that there was danger

Ridiculed and insulted by so many

Made to carry that cross up that hill

Those soldiers had fire in their eyes

For it was Jesus they wanted to kill

He died that day on that wooden cross

No longer on this Earth would He live

He escaped the tomb and went to Heaven

It was for us His earthly life He did give

One day I want to see our dear Savior

Walk with Him up there on streets of gold

Knowing I must believe in Him and confess

These things I know I don’t need to be told

Leaves And Life

Our leaves this year are not very pretty

Without a frost most are turning Brown

Having not enough rain they were stressed

When a heavy rain came they fell down

This is very much like the life that we live

Unpredictable there’ll be good years and bad

Everything will be fine if we hold to our faith

To Jesus He is best friend that we ever had

Like the leaves coming back again next year

We too can have a rebirth and be born again

With your friend having died for all your sins

Being true to Him a Heavenly home you gain

Perhaps next year the leaves will be beautiful

Much like the beauty up in Heaven we will see

Only through our friend Jesus will we see Heaven

What a life of wonder with Jesus shall there be

My Friend

Will you meet me in the morning

Down by the rustic garden gate

I have a friend I want you to see

Make sure that you are not late

A sweet scent will come from roses

Just perfect for our meeting with Him

If you never meet my dearest friend

The rest of your life will be very dim

My friend’s name is Jesus Christ

He died to take our sins as His own

He was resurrected up into Heaven

Still His teachings have ever grown

If you have doubts about my friend

You will find answers in the Holy Bible

Every word written there is the truth

You know that for a fact, it is gospel

They Had A Rebirth

When all the beauty of Heaven surrounds you

There will be so much happiness in your heart

As you walk on those streets with Jesus Christ

You realize from this place you could never part

Friends you remember from Earth will be there

They too have found happiness with their home

With all the places they find up there in Heaven

They will find many places where they can roam

Many new friends will you meet as time goes by

They too have found Heaven is better than Earth

Having admitted their sins and reading the Bible

They were blessed and then they had a rebirth

Joy will forever be seen in those great mansions

No sadness or sorrow will ever be seen up there

You will be welcomed in as one of God’s children

To forever be in our wonderful Savior’s loving care

Scioto Valley Trees

The beauty God has given to the Scioto Valley

Is colorful and none other can begin to compare

In Autumn the trees stand out in their brilliant glory

They are the most beautiful that are seen anywhere

The beauty of the Maple tree is seen in many colors

Flaming Reds, soft Golden, and other colors are seen

It is like magic how these leaves change to the colors

When all summer they have had but one color, Green

So much color is seen when driving in Shawnee Forrest

Where many different species of trees are found growing

Around the lakes they are a beauty that we surely adore

Some may appear to be translucent like they are glowing

Some time in October is when they leaves will show color

Depending on weather factors like a frost will change them

Then the true beauty of the lovely Scioto Valley will be seen

Come to the Southern part of Ohio if you want to see a gem

Entirely Up To You

You don’t see Him, but he is always near

He knows your thoughts before you do

He has planned your life from birth to death

What you do with it is entirely up to you

He is a pleasant but also a wrathful God

He loves but He can give punishment too

He wants you to be with Him in Heaven

But that is something He doesn’t give you

His Son paid a heavy price for you and me

When they nailed Him to a cross on Calvary

He died to take away your sins if you confess

If we obey Him Heaven is home for you and me

Life here on Earth lasts only for a short time

In Heaven it will last throughout all of eternity

If you want to live in that beautiful land you can

You can start by praying to Him on a bended knee

Will Always Be

I walk with Jesus each step that we take

We talk and we walk with a great purpose

He tells me of a great place God has made

It is a place where we will find no darkness

He cheers me when sadness surrounds me

His sweet smile gives a smile to my face too

I am never lonely because He is always near

What a friend and I want to share Him with you

You too can walk with Jesus each step and day

He will never deny you that privilege any time

He will always be there to help and guide you

No matter how hard or tall that hill is to climb

He will be your friend both on Earth and in Heaven

Never would He ever turn His back to you or to me

Listen and obey each word that He does tell to you

You will find that your home in Heaven will always be

My Savior’s Will

Yesterday is gone and tomorrow out of sight

Yesterday is lost and we dream of tomorrow

Some things have been really to good to us

Many others have brought to us only sorrow

But dreams are only things that we wish for

Some may come true others will vanish away

But one dream we know that can come true

Is that we all can see precious Jesus one day

If we follow in His teachings and confess sin

He has a home up in Heaven that awaits you

There to find that eternal home He has made

Follow readings in the Bible as they are true

Will we find yesterdays or tomorrows up there

Or will it be today always and time will stand still

We will only find out when we get up in Heaven

That is where I want to go if it my Savior’s will

The Right Way

There will be no sadness in Heaven

Nothing but joy there shall abound

There will be just one happy family

Thank God the truth I have found

Jesus came to Earth to save souls

He took on all our sins as if His own

Saving us from the devil and his hell

To go to Heaven and there win a crown

If you will confess sin and be a believer

You too can be in Heaven some day

God wants everyone to be there with Him

Make sure you are headed the right way

How good it will be to walk beside Jesus

You will have feelings never felt before

Love will fill your heart with complete joy

Happiness will be with you for evermore

In Heaven One Day

As we travel along this world’s long path

Many things we see traveling on the way

We see both good and also see the bad

Things seem to change almost every day

We wonder how long this world will stand

How long God will permit it to be abused

So many have turned their back to Him

We all know that He is not at all amused

Things we see on television are plain filth

It seems as if they want us watch that dirt

But God commands us to just avoid that

While the atheists all say what does it hurt

Politicians are running down their opponents

They are calling each other scandalous names

Not realizing that one day they will have to answer

Because God does not like the way they play games

If only things would change and get a lot better

Maybe God would look on us in a much different way

We should all be happy He has a home for us

We all want to be with Him in Heaven one day
