Forgive My Transgressions 

After I have climbed that tall mountain

I know that Heaven is not too far away

I cannot see anything that is above me

It is then I know I should begin to pray

Lord help me overcome my weakness

I know I don’t deserve this love from you

Take away all of my transgressions Lord

Take my old life, give me one that is new

I know there is a place for me in Heaven

The Holy Bible tells me up there I can go

If I will repent of my sins and believe in you

A home in your beautiful Heaven I will know

So Lord I will tell you many sins I have known

So take the sins as if I had never done them

This fool begs that you will forgive my ignorance

If you don’t my chances of Heaven are very slim
