With Compassion

If your heart is filled with so much sorrow

There is someone you really need to know

He died for all of our sins upon Mt. Calvary

He has a place in Heaven where we can go

He is the Son of God and He loves everyone

Jesus Christ walked on this Earth years ago

There were many praised and worshiped him

Others hated Him, their hate seemed to grow

They made Him struggle with a wooden cross

They had fashioned from a roughly hewed tree

When they got to the top of that Mount Calvary

He was nailed to the cross and couldn’t get free

My friend there is something never to forget

He spent those terrible hours of complete agony

To absolve you of the all the sins you committed

With compassion He died for the sins of you and me

My Life’s Anchor

Anytime you feel all is lost

Call on our blessed Savior

He is the strength of it all

Yes He is my life’s anchor

Jesus died for all our sins

For to sin brings us death

He took on our sin for us

He breathed His last breath

With open arms He greets us

When we arrive at Heaven’s gate

Knowing He will be waiting for us

It is one time we wont be late

Heaven is my everlasting home

One He built with exact precision

Only in this place could you find 

Life that is lived without a burden

He Knows Why

There will come a day when I will see Him

In that great city that is high up in the sky

There I shall fall on my knees and praise Him

My reason is I love Him and He knows why

He has saved my soul from a fiery furnace

Lifted me to a home in Heaven for eternity

He allowed His Son to die for all my sins

He has shown His love for you and for me

That day I let the Blessed Savior in my life

A complete change in my life came to me

Although I know I cannot be just like Him

He knows I shall always want and try to be

That day I get up to where the believers go

Happiness shall be with me for all eternity

I will walk with Jesus on the Golden streets

Perhaps you will stroll there along with me

He Would Give

Do you feel His presence around you

Know He has love for you in His heart

No other could give you what He has

For it was God who gave your start

If you know that the Lord is your savior

No evil thoughts will come to your mind

You can depend upon His solemn promise

To be given an eternal life that will be kind

There can be no better friend than Jesus

He died to atone for the sins we did live

All the agony He felt while on that cross

His life for all of the sinners He did give

When you see him up at the Golden gate

Give Him thanks for showing you the way

For without Him and His love for everyone

An eternal death is what we would all pay

Perfect And Unclouded 

I feel at peace as I sit under the Elm tree

I think of what I might see up in Heaven

It is written if I my confess sin and believe

My place in that Holy City shall be done

A slight breeze cools an otherwise hot day

As I continue to think of where I shall go

When life on this Earth has past and gone

It will be a much better place that I will know

God has given us a choice of what to do

As we spend our mortal life here on Earth

We can abide with Him or with the old devil

If with Him then He will see what is our worth 

A smile comes over my face as I think of Him

I know He has love for everyone He created

He wants us all to meet Him up in Glory land

There where every day is perfect and unclouded

For Your Benefit

When the cruel hand of death hovers above us

Faith in our Lord will help us through our plight

He is the only way for us to have a sound mind

Believe Him and ask him in prayer, do it tonight

We all know there will be a time coming for us

To face that final day living here on this old Earth

What we have done to atone to our sin filled lives

Getting to Heaven will show us what it was worth

Up there all of the pain and suffering will be gone

Our new body from our Great Master he will give

Our home in Heaven He has built for the believers

It is there in Heaven that an eternal life we will live

We all want to see all the great wonders of Heaven 

Be by the throne where our Heavenly Father will sit

Listen as the choir sings those beautiful old hymns

Pay attention to God because it is for your benefit

Pulling Together

If there was a time when we needed God

That time is here and we must rely on Him

He is the God who has created all things

Without Him our life in the hereafter is slim

With the whole world now in constant turmoil 

It seems as if there is no-one that we can trust

We need to turn to the one who created us all

As you have heard He created us from dust

Our USA was created as a God fearing country

Today God has been taken out of all our schools

We find His name in very few of our public places

Today some think we are just a bunch of fools

We must all start to pulling together if we survive

It seems as if just a few want to see things right

If things aren’t changed and changed in a hurry

The end of a wonderful country can be our plight

They Will Win

Across that river I will be going

I will meet Jesus along the way

We will walk and talk a long time

I will listen to what He has to say

He will tell me I can go to Heaven

A place where the believers will go

He says the streets are made of Gold

He has made a home which I will know

It is with great pleasure I walk with Him

Each step brings us closer to the throne

It is there we will see our loving Father 

He is the kindest Father we have known

He sent His only Son to Earth to save us

Jesus died because He took on our sin

All the people who confess and do repent

Their home in Heaven is what they will win

Life Will Be Spent

Don’t be discouraged for God will help you

When everything seem to be going so bad

Prayer to our Lord will help you get through

He can cure any illness that you have had

Although your world might be filled with woe

Look around and discover that you are not alone

For He loves you and will never ever leave your side

He has prepared you the greatest home ever known

When it is time to go He will take away your pain

He will take you to your eternal home in the sky

For those who are headed in the opposite direction

It will be too late for them to ask the reason why

You must remember that Jesus died for your sin

He asks that you believe in Him and to repent

He then will show you that beautiful Holy City

Where your wonderful eternal life will be spent

A Most Perfect Day

It is morning and the Sun is rising

A beautiful day is now on the way

A cloudless sky brightens the land

God is giving us a most perfect day

Every day is a perfect one in Heaven

God would not permit it any other way

No rain storms or snow will we see there

We know God will always have the final say

He has built us mansions of Silver and Gold

Where for all throughout eternity we shall live

For me being faithful and for the love I gave

A beautiful bejeweled crown God will give

So wonderful those eternal days up in Heaven

Times when we shall all gather around the throne

We will listen to the choir sing great gospel songs

Their singing will be the most beautiful ever known

Paid Your Debt

If you will listen to your heart you’ll understand

He has given you the greatest gift you can ever get

A rebirth when your life on Earth is over and done

He took on all your sins and He fully paid your debt

With a home waiting for you up in His Heaven above

God loves you so much more than we do understand

He has forgiven us for all the mistakes we have made

This home He has made for us is so great and grand

If today is the day God calls for you to be with Him

Be ready by making sure your faith in Him is true

Remember He loves you and wants you near Him

He has a beautiful mansion He made only for you

With no pains or sorrows put on us up in Heaven 

We can spend eternity in the Land God made for us

There we will be surrounded by His many believers

We will walk the Golden streets with our friend Jesus

A Mother’s Love

A mother’s love lasts during her lifetime

It is sorely missed when she passes away

Time spent with her should  be cherished

Tell her that you love her each living day

It’s when she is gone we sadly miss her

It feels as if our hearts would break into

Gone is that special feeling we had for her

Some times we have no idea what to do

Although we know she is living in Heaven

We miss the love and compassion she gave

There is an empty feeling of deep sorrow

That day they put our mother in the grave

One day we shall be back with our mother

We will walk together on the streets of Gold

Happiness will spring eternal deep in our heart

There my love for my mother every day will be told
