God Made Everything

There is another set of footprints in the sand

That walks the same pathway as mine I see

They are made by my friend I now call Jesus

Him being there now it means so much to me

His father has made everything that we see

Every part of this whole universe He made

Working on this project for six whole days

On the seventh day He rested in the shade

One of the places is one we call Heaven

A place where we will meet Him one day

Joy will overflow as we see friend Jesus

We shall fall down on our knees and pray

It is our hope to see you as we get there

For it is the eternal life we all that we seek

If God had not made us a place like Heaven

Our life after living on Earth would be bleak

My Wonderful Day

If tomorrow should be the day

Your call should come my way

In my heart happiness will flow

On my way to Heaven I will go

My life our Savior has changed

Priorities have been rearranged

His love I feel deep in my heart

I know that is how it did all start

Yesterday is but a fading memory

Tomorrow may not be for you or me

Still I will worship my God every day

Til the day Heaven will come my way

Only through Christ will Heaven be

That should be plain for all to see

I look forward to that wonderful day

Now that my sins are washed away

We Thank God

I can feel the chill in a early October rain

It is telling me Winter will be here soon

Squalls are hanging low in the dark sky

This night they will hide a harvest moon

We have gleamed all harvest of the fields

Much we have stored away for the Winter

On those days when we are home bound

Our stored larder to us will be the answer 

We thank God for all the blessing He gives

We thank Him for the crops we had this year

With food lasting throughout the long Winter

We can rest in comfort having this food near

We know the Wintertime shall pass into Spring

Again we will plow and put seeds in the ground

With the good Lord’s help it will grow very well

When it’s harvest time a great crop will be found

Your Road

Are you walking the wrong road

One that you find will never end

Or are you walking the right road

One that is straight it has no bend

Lucifer has control of the wrong road

It is the one we must avoid at all time

Do not break God’s commandments

Do do so would be like doing a crime

If we walk on the road with Jesus Christ

We will find it is so much easier to tread

As we walk with our Lord and our Savior

We must remember what the Bible said

If you want to walk through Heaven’s gate

It is through Jesus Christ that you must go

He is the one that has all your sins on record

Everything you have done Jesus does know

Knowing Jesus

Where would we be without our Lord

We would have no hope for eternity

All dreams of Heaven would vanish

The fire of hell would be there for me

I would see no angels as they sing

No Golden pathways would I walk on

The Savior would only be a past dream

I would never know a beautiful dawn

Thank God I know our Holy Redeemer

I will walk on those streets made of Gold

I will stroll those pathways with our Jesus

In His City that is very beautiful to behold

If you don’t know Jesus then listen to me

Confess your sins and tell Him you believe

Only through Jesus can you enter Heaven

Your worldly troubles He will then relieve

Heaven Bound

Our Earthly pain will be past and gone

When our Heavenly Father we do meet

After we pass through Heaven’s portals

There will be Jesus our Savior to greet

Knowing it was Jesus who took our sins

We bow down in a prayer of sweet love

To our Lord who died for our transgressions

So we could spend our Eternity up above

When that trumpet sounds and calls me

Jesus will open a gate and I shall enter

He will greet me with a well done friend

It was then that my heart he will capture

To know He has made this place for us

Brings tears of joy and warms my heart

I shall worship Him throughout Eternity

It is there Jesus and I shall never part

Autumn Colors

Although September may have hot days

We find the nights can be a perfect delight

Hills of Green soon will be seen in colors

This year all of the colors should be right

We have had a lot of rain for the leaves

Soon God will soon beginning to paint

Each leave will have it’s distinct shade

Every one shall be vivd and never be faint

Autumn is the favorite time for so many

Each season has beauty to delight some

But the colors of Autumn are so beautiful

Reds, Yellows, Orange, and even Plumb

Although it will be a beautiful time to see

This time will pass and a new season begins

As we look back on this pretty season later

We will debate on which color really wins

A Life In Glory

What a bright and glorious day it will be

When I meet our Savior up there in Glory

There I shall have a long talk with Jesus

He will tell me about Heaven in His story

He will say the streets are paved with Gold

He tells of the castles made of pure ivory

Where we will get to spend an eternal life

These things He has made for you and me

Lush fields of Green dot this lovely place

Above we find skies that are a soft Blue

Pathways are covered with brilliant Gold

He made everything great for me and you

When we get up there in this wonderful land

Only love can we feel deep within our heart

This will be our home through all of eternity

From this wonderful home we shall never part

Beauty Of Heaven

Only His love can take you to Heaven

He is the only one that can set you free

If you will only listen to His great message

Your home in Heaven is surely bound to be

He was martyred on an old wooden cross

Hung with nails through His hands and feet

He knew He was dying to save us from sin 

Soon His Father in Heaven He would meet

His life here on Earth was only a short one

While He was here He discipled many men

He showed then His undying love He had

He was the greatest man there ever has been

There will come a day when I shall see Him

I will walk along with Him on a sandy beach

As we walk I can see the beauty of Heaven

It is wonderful far as these eyes can reach

Fantastic Love

First I searched for fame and glory

Then money became my next lust

I thought I had looked for everything

But not anything could I ever trust

I was like a blind man who stumbled

Searching for a thing I could believe

Still yet there was something missing

The pain in my heart I couldn’t relieve

As my mind became more confused

I saw Him standing there beside me

His gentle voice greeted me good day

It was then I knew He had set me free

Today Jesus and me walk the same path

He has taught me how He is good friend

We share a mutual feeling for each other

It is a fantastic love that could never end

The Old Poet

The old poet’s pen lays quiet now

No longer will it touch paper again

Where beautiful word were written

No longer will those poems begin

Shaky hands that once held a pen

No longer has the power to hold it

Dreams at one time were his to have

No longer will the rhyming words fit

He wonders why the words are gone

In his younger years they seemed to flow

Now his memory isn’t what it once was

Where it has gone he will never know

What a shame time has done to the poet

It has robbed him of he has done the best

For him life doesn’t seem worth while now

Soon he knows he will have Heavens rest

Always Be True

Will you answer when He calls you

Or will you turn your head in shame

Only you know the way you’ll answer

Because you are the only one to blame

I am sure at sometime you have met Him

Why did you run away from Him and hide

Don’t you realize how much He loves you

You should know He will ever be by your side

You still can be a friend to our loving Jesus

Bow down on your knees in a solemn prayer

Ask Him to forgive all of the sins committed 

Not believing in Him was your big blunder

So today change the way that you think

Give your love to Him as He gives it to you

Know that He will catch you if you stumble

But to our Lord and Master always be true

God’s Heaven

When I open my eyes to God’s Heaven

What a beauty site these eyes will see

The magnificence of that Royal Kingdom

Brings a prayer as I am on bended knee

God has made a sanctuary for believers

Bedecked with the finest material made

Beautiful are the colors in His Kingdom

They will last forever and will never fade

As I walk those Golden streets in Heaven

Jesus will be walking upon the same path

Gentle will be His voice as He talks to me

For in this wonderful land there is no wrath

When I meet you in this unblemished Land

A beautiful smile will be seen on your face

We know that God’s place is home forever

There it will be a Grand and Glorious Place

I Shall Atone

As I walk through the garden with Him

It seems as though I am walking on air

His presence gives me a comfort feeling

Knowing I shall ever be in my Lord’s care

That day He calls me to go to His home

Shall be the most joyous day I have known

For He has taken my sin as they were His

For all the love He has shown I shall atone

Only through Jesus can I enter Heaven’s gate

Where throughout all my eternal life I shall live

What a glorious wonderful feeling living there

To Him all of the love to my Master I shall give

If you don’t know Him, He is always by your side

Get on your knees you will find the words to say

You will find that you have a wonderful feeling

As you meet our Lord when you begin to pray

He Is Your Master

Although our lives are short on this Earth

There is a place where we shall never die

A Grand and Glorious place we call Heaven

We all want to go there and we all know why

No heartaches can we see in that great city

Peace and pure joy there shall ever abound

To see this most perfect place through Jesus

The way to confess your sins must be found

Meet Jesus and have a heart rendering talk

Tell Him there is no other King we will know

He is the master of everything in our universe

With Him in Heaven is where we want to go

Once you realize He died to save your soul

Your heart should always have love for Him

For without knowing that He is your Master

Your eternal home in His Heaven is very slim
