God’s Glory

One day we will meet Him up in Heaven

There will be many blessings we can earn

We will find our place there in God’s Glory

Many of His sacred lessons we will learn

We will find out why we were put on Earth

Instead of being born in some Heavenly town

Perhaps it was to give us a chance to worship

Giving us that way to win ourselves a crown

Did He not tell us in the Bibles sacred writings

We must be reborn to get up in His kingdom

We must pray our transgressions to be canceled

What He will do for us I know will be awesome

In your prayers you will find so many answers

He will tell you the right road on which to tread

It will lead you to His beautiful home in Heaven

A home where you shall find no fear or dread

Happiness In Heaven

Without aches or pains I will enter His kingdom

Long gone will feelings I had on Earth be there

Only will there be joy felt where once was sorrow

Happiness in Heaven will now replace despair

He touched me and I became a reborn Christian

I asked Him to take away my sins and I repented

There was no hesitation on my Savior’s doing it

He knew it was His Glory that I now represented

To be in Heaven forever with our Savior is great

No problems could we ever encounter up there

I will love all of my walks with my Lord and Savior

So wonderful that I shall be forever in His care

They way to Heaven is not easy so be vigilant

Heed everything that Holy Bible tells us to do

If you will keep all of His ten commandments

Your place up in Heaven will be waiting for you

Time

Time what are you doing to me

You are making me an old man

I guess I must accept everything

It is a part of our Savior’s plan

I seem to notice now I am slow

Where I once I had some speed

Exercise was a thing I read about

Now I am wishing I had taken heed

My belly has lapped over my belt

None of my old clothes seem to fit

Even the chair seemed to have shrunk

My favorite one where I used to sit

So time it looks like you are a winner

Your years have made me look old

Wrinkles where it was once smooth

I am old and I don’t need to be told

I Will Know

You may not see Him but He is near

He hears your every word in prayer

When times are hard call on Jesus

He died so that He could save us

Bring out love that is in your heart

His ideas from you mind do not part

Depend on our Lord to see us through

If to Him we must always be true

Until the day I am put under the sod

Not a day will I let go by without God

My faith in our Savior shall be strong

For it is with God in Heaven I belong

Heaven and Hell are real no doubt

Read in the Holy Bible to find out

One day up the Golden stairs I go

Then the love of Jesus I will know

Other Side Of The River

On the other side of the river I’ll see Jesus

He will be there to take me home with Him

With a heart full of love for my dear Savior

I will drink a cup of kindness up to the brim

There I will shout hallelujah to a great King

It was His Son that had saved my evil soul

Taken from the grasp of an old demon devil

His love has saved me and now I am whole

If you feel you are not what you should be

Call on the Blessed Lord in a long prayer

Tell Him of your belief in His Holy teaching

He will give you the words you want to hear

Forget the past sins that dogged your day

If you confess them and believe in our God

You will be forgiven through life upon Earth

Be given a path up to Heaven from the sod

A Rebirth

I see evening shadows playing on the landscape

Soon they will face a fate we all will know one day

Gone because they have spent their life and die

Unlike the shadows a rebirth can be send our way

If you know God, follow in His teaching and believe

There is a greater life that He has prepared for you

Life in His glorious City awaits all his saved children

There is no doubt God wants you to be up there too

With all the uncertainty we have in this world today

The only one we can truly depend and rely upon

Is our loving God who created and loves all of us

Don’t ignore what He says or all your hope is gone

If you don’t know that feeling of believing in our God

You can get in touch with Him by kneeling in prayer

As Him to lift you up and to give you a new beginning

A rebirth from that non believer that you once were

Believers

Have you ever wondered why some don’t believe

Do they think the way this world works is fiction

That everything in the universe did just happened

Not knowing it is just a figment of their imagination

God with His great power created all of the things

No accident caused the oceans, mountains, or sky

With his hands he made everything in just six days

Not one time did he ever look back and ask why

Today we look around and wonder at the perfection

How everything must be in perfect balance to align

If anything was to get out of alignment it would crash

But God in His perfection made it in a perfect design

So if anyone doesn't believe that God made everything

They think a big bang came to make everything we see

My friend if you have this thought you are a lost cause

You will not live that eternal life with believers like me

My Journey Home

Though the journey through life might seem long

A few years on this Earth will quickly pass on by

A home awaits all of God’s believers after this life

Seeing my dear Savior will bring a tear to my eye

With more love than I could ever express to Him

This feeling brings so much freedom to my soul

No more love could my mind or heart ever dream

Than the miracle of God who has made me whole

How could I have any other feelings for my Lord

For I have become a part of my God’s grand plan

With life on Earth, one I will get to see in Heaven

There I will get to see one I will call the great I am

Tears of joy will streak down my cheeks in Heaven

Knowing I have reached the greatest pinnacle known

Finding the land that God made for those who believe

Knowledge of my Heavenly Father has steadily grown

Heaven Will Be Your Goal

Have you told your friend about Jesus

How only through Him is the way to glory

He died on the cross to save us sinners

Pray to Him He will tell you all of the story

In your darkest hour you can still find Him

He will listen to everything you have to say

Pray with Him and know He does love you

Be prepared to face Him on Judgement day

If your thoughts have not been about Heaven

The devil must be keeping you under control

Break those thoughts and ask His forgiveness

Always remember that Heaven will be your goal

Your days are getting shorter, pray or lose it all

When that final trumpet sounds it will be too late

If you have not confessed to our Heavenly Father

Sadly you will never get to see that Heavenly gate

God Is Real

If I with my feeble mind know about God

Why can’t some intellects know he lives

It was God who made all of the universe

An eternal life to all believers God gives

It boggles my mind that they don’t know

He has made a place of retreat for them

They ignore all of the Bible and His word

Not realizing their life they will condemn

Although I have a very limited education

I am smart enough to know there is a God

You would think with all of their brain power

They would know Him and be then be awed

If only they would realize that our God is real

They could find their place in Heaven with us

There to find that place filled with happiness

To spend all of eternity with our friend Jesus

Greatest Friend

When Christ shall come I want to be there

He will gather up all His followers He saved

Then carry them away to a far distant land

Free from Earth where they were enslaved

A wicked world where there is yet a promise

Lift up your eyes see what God has for you

A Holy land where no illness would we bear

He wants us all to be with Him not just a few

While we have problems today on the Earth

Patience must be used as we have no control

God in His own time will make things all right

He will cleanse you and then make you whole

Soon from a world filled with sin up to Heaven

We will see a land of such beauty never seen

With all the beautiful flowers of so many colors

There will be large fields that are a lush Green

His land shall be exciting where freedom rings

As we go there to see our Father who made us

He created everything in the upmost perfection

His son is the greatest friend ever known, Jesus

Call On Him

Have you met my friend Jesus

He is always there by you side

He built a home up in Heaven

Where one day I want to reside

Many thoughts will enter my mind

As I think of that wonderful land

Beautiful is the way He made it

Everything there is so very grand

He wants you to join me up there

Where we can enjoy His domain

There we can live with him forever

It is a wonderful life that we gain

I want to introduce you to Jesus

Call on Him anytime that you pray

Tell Him you want to be with me

As we see Him on judgement day

Victory Has Been Won

During my life many mistakes I have made

For these mistakes I ask God for a reprieve

Knowing He is the only one who can forgive

He is supreme and in Him I truly do believe

He has made a place that we all call Heaven

Where there shall never be worries or cares

We shall live there with the believers of God

Free from all the troubles and all the snares

When from this Earthly home we do depart

To find that Eternal home of Heaven above

We will find a place of the most rare beauty

That is filled with our Lords unyielding love

Thankful we are that all sins can be erased

If we confess and ask forgiveness it is done

God wants us up in His eternal city with Him

When we get there our victory has been won

When My Name Is Called

When my name is called I’ll be ready

To go up to that land that will ever be

To know a life that outshines all other

A place God has made for us to see

Do you feel His love radiate your soul

Bringing a warm glow within your heart

Great is our creator who made Heaven

If you want to pray it is now time to start

I cannot express my feelings to my Lord

It overwhelms my mind to think of Jesus

Nothing could change this love for Him

For that old devil to try would be useless

I tremble when I think of what He means

How He can give me a life forever more

To think I can walk with my friend Jesus

Along a path on Heaven’s Golden shore

Read His Word

When the stress of life seems more than you can bear

Bring all your troubles to our almighty God high above

He will give your mortal life a blessing that you do need

Read His word in the Holy Bible it will fill you with love

Know that He is King and creator of everything we see

Taking but six days to build a complex universe for us

Many things He has done that was so good and kind

He even gave up His only Son to take our sins, Jesus

No way can you get to Heaven except through His son

There will be a time that you will have to face Him alone

It shall be called the judgement day as time comes for you

To face everything you have done for which you can atone

If you have confessed your sins and ask Him to forgive

You will find a place that will ever be your place to live

He will take you to a home where no dark clouds will be

A home far beyond anything you thought He would give

A Beautiful Land

What remains of this Earthly body

With a coffin will stay in the grave

Our Heavenly body will swiftly rise

Because God has seen it fit to save

While on Earth we have obeyed Him

Ask forgiveness for all transgressions

Loved Him and every day we did pray

Up there He will answer our questions

Never doubt there is a home for us

After life on Earth has come to an end

All bodies that were broken on Earth

Ih Heaven our God will quickly mend

If today God should call me to Heaven

It is with the knowledge I will go above

To a land God has made for believers

A beautiful land that is filled with love

Love Our King

I want to go up where Jesus lives

Up into that happy hallelujah land

Eternally be with our loving creator

Living in a home He built so grand

No place we have seen can compare

To what we will see when we get there

He has made everything for our comfort

We will live forever in God’s loving care

He built it for all the people who love him

Not sparing anything that makes it great

Everything we will ever need we find there

Happiness when He meets us at the gate

Will you be there after you leave the Earth

Meet your good friends beside God’s throne

Feel the great feelings that Heaven brings

Know all the love for our King has grown

Grandma

Streaks of Silver hide what once was Gold

Grandma is aging we don’t have to be told

She once was a beautiful lady I had heard

But beauty has faded as her age it captured

Today as she sits in her old rocking chair

Her mind is on God not the color of her hair

Alone she has time to think of Heaven above

How Jesus has filled her heart full of His love

She knows that time will soon take her away

Rocking slowly she thinks of judgement day

She will again get to see the handsome man

That was to be with her for their lifetime span

She can’t be unhappy with how life has been

Still she misses his infectious silly little grin

Thinking he has been gone over ten years

There are times it is hard to hold back tears

When she will join him she really don’t know

But if it happened today she is ready to go

To meet him in that land that is far up above

She will be once again be with her sweet love
