Exciting Race

When the storm of life is over

Time on Earth shall be no more

Nestled in the arms of my Savior

I shall live in peace for evermore

Through eternity with Him I’ll be

Never to face fear or or to be alone

He will comfort my soul every day

My love for Him will have daily grown

Through the years I shall be faithful

Never to turn my back to my God

He will be in my heart for all eternity

His is the only path I have ever trod

He will meet me at the pearly gates

Welcome me in to His beautiful place

Forever I shall reside in His mansion

I will have won that most exciting race
