The Old Poet

The old poet’s pen lays quiet now

No longer will it touch paper again

Where beautiful word were written

No longer will those poems begin

Shaky hands that once held a pen

No longer has the power to hold it

Dreams at one time were his to have

No longer will the rhyming words fit

He wonders why the words are gone

In his younger years they seemed to flow

Now his memory isn’t what it once was

Where it has gone he will never know

What a shame time has done to the poet

It has robbed him of he has done the best

For him life doesn’t seem worth while now

Soon he knows he will have Heavens rest

Always Be True

Will you answer when He calls you

Or will you turn your head in shame

Only you know the way you’ll answer

Because you are the only one to blame

I am sure at sometime you have met Him

Why did you run away from Him and hide

Don’t you realize how much He loves you

You should know He will ever be by your side

You still can be a friend to our loving Jesus

Bow down on your knees in a solemn prayer

Ask Him to forgive all of the sins committed

Not believing in Him was your big blunder

So today change the way that you think

Give your love to Him as He gives it to you

Know that He will catch you if you stumble

But to our Lord and Master always be true

God’s Heaven

When I open my eyes to God’s Heaven

What a beauty site these eyes will see

The magnificence of that Royal Kingdom

Brings a prayer as I am on bended knee

God has made a sanctuary for believers

Bedecked with the finest material made

Beautiful are the colors in His Kingdom

They will last forever and will never fade

As I walk those Golden streets in Heaven

Jesus will be walking upon the same path

Gentle will be His voice as He talks to me

For in this wonderful land there is no wrath

When I meet you in this unblemished Land

A beautiful smile will be seen on your face

We know that God’s place is home forever

There it will be a Grand and Glorious Place

I Shall Atone

As I walk through the garden with Him

It seems as though I am walking on air

His presence gives me a comfort feeling

Knowing I shall ever be in my Lord’s care

That day He calls me to go to His home

Shall be the most joyous day I have known

For He has taken my sin as they were His

For all the love He has shown I shall atone

Only through Jesus can I enter Heaven’s gate

Where throughout all my eternal life I shall live

What a glorious wonderful feeling living there

To Him all of the love to my Master I shall give

If you don’t know Him, He is always by your side

Get on your knees you will find the words to say

You will find that you have a wonderful feeling

As you meet our Lord when you begin to pray

He Is Your Master

Although our lives are short on this Earth

There is a place where we shall never die

A Grand and Glorious place we call Heaven

We all want to go there and we all know why

No heartaches can we see in that great city

Peace and pure joy there shall ever abound

To see this most perfect place through Jesus

The way to confess your sins must be found

Meet Jesus and have a heart rendering talk

Tell Him there is no other King we will know

He is the master of everything in our universe

With Him in Heaven is where we want to go

Once you realize He died to save your soul

Your heart should always have love for Him

For without knowing that He is your Master

Your eternal home in His Heaven is very slim

Place Of Peace

My eyes fill with tears as I think of Him

A heart full of love is with me each day

Never could anyone ever replace Jesus

When I see Him I shall fall down and pray

As Heaven opens and let me enter there

His great comfort shall ever fill my soul

A soothing voice I will hear from His lips

Believe in me son and you shall be whole

Its will be sweet being there with my Savior

An eternal life could only be given by Him

Heaven will be the place of peace for us

We could never be hiding there on the brim

If you want to see precious Jesus there

Get down on your knees in solemn prayer

Tell the Lord that your love for him is great

Now on things can’t be the way they were

Victory Bell

Although we walk through the valley of death

We are safe if we walk with our loving Savior

He will protect us from all harm and every evil

In all the stormy days He shall be my anchor

With all of my hopes and prayers I adore Him

Never shall I let my love for Him fade away

He is the creator of everything that we see

My home shall be with Him in Heaven one day

If today should be one where I should see Him

I shall fall on bended knee with so much love

My heart will overfill with the joy I have for Him

I have all of these feelings and don’t need a shove

I know and believe that we have only one Savior

He died on a wooden cross to save us from hell

He loves everyone even those who are sinners

Will you be there when we hear that victory bell
