Will Ever Be

In a world filled with so much uncertainty

We wonder what the next day shall bring

Should we worry about our very existence

Or depend on our great Savior for everything

To trust Him is the wisest way that we can go

He knows every thing you will ever face today

He has a place that is filled with love and comfort

To get there you must admit your sins and pray

Only through Jesus can you arrive upon that shore

If you are a believer He will open a gate and let you in

Have no second doubts about our blessed Savior

Let it be known He is the greatest King there has been

Love Him as He has all of this heartfelt love for you

He will ever find a place in Heaven for you and for me

Never will He turn away from any of His true believers

You will find this Heavenly home for you will ever be

God Is On My Side

If life was like a box of candy

Everything would be so sweet

We would live a life that’s happy

Everything would be so neat

But life is not that easy to bear

There are bumps along the way

At times they become unbearable

It is at that time I begin to pray

I know that God is on my side

He will help me make things right

Clear a mind that that is confused

Give me a restful mind this night

He is the Master of all that live

Our Creator who is King of Kings

He rules everything in the universe

To us it is love that He always brings

My Home Up Above

My heart now belongs to Jesus

Bought with His redeeming love

He has saved me from the devil

To take me to my home up above

Not to refuse His gracious deeds

But to accept without ever asking

For He is the divine Creator of all

We know He has made everything

When tomorrow arrives at Sun up

We know it will be a beautiful day

With a cloudless and a perfect sky

Thank you Lord my voice will say

As each day that passes I realize

I am getting closer to His kingdom

When from this Earth I will ascend

To land that is hard for us to fathom

Want To Go

Today as I was walking down life’s trail

It was there that I met this great friend

He made me feel so good just to listen

I know this conversation will never end

He told me of a place He filled with love

With mansions where we will ever live

If you follow all of His commandments

It is a life up in Heaven that He will give

It is with wondrous excitement I can feel

As He tells me of this most beautiful land

Where angels fly with those silken wings

A choir sings along with music from a band

Why everyone doesn’t want to go up there

Is something a mortal man will never know

With everything in Heaven being so perfect

Why wouldn’t any sane man then want to go

One You Should See

With storm clouds gathering on the horizon

It is time the Lord and I had a conversation

I would ask Him to protect me from all harm

Seeing what’s ahead it’s good rationalization

As the thunder and lightning flash all around

Fear begins to set into my paralyzed mind

Then He speaks in His gentle and soft voice

As I listen He soothes me with a voice so kind

Fear not it is something I control He then said

Farmers have need of water for crops to live

It is needed so there will be food for all to eat

Starvation would be if I didn’t have water to give

As the skies begin to brighten my heart does too

Knowing I have the greatest friend that could be

He protects me and He can also protect you too

My friend is the Comforter a one you should see

Forever Last

Hold on to your belief in God

Never let the devil get control

The devil will only destroy you

While God will save your soul

He has love for all the people

Not one would He turn away

He wants us all to be with Him

In Heaven to spend every day

If you have listened to our Lord

Confessed sin and you believe

It will be a glorious time for us

As our burdens He does relieve

As we climb the stairs to Heaven

We shall never look to the past

We will only think of God and love

It is something that will forever last

Never Fall

When the stars come out at night

Do you ever wonder what is beyond

How much farther on up to Heaven

What would be your first respond

We often wonder about the oceans

How large they are or just how deep

That piece of land you have payed for

Is it really yours something you keep

Many things can become a mystery

But God has the answer to them all

There isn’t a question He can’t answer

You know that our God has total recall

If you have problems that seem large

Call on the Master He will heed your call

Talk to Him in a long and caring manner

If you listen to Him you shall never fall
