Well And Alive

Gone are the days that were free and easy

It’s a very different world we live in this day

Gone are the things we all took for granted

We wonder if these days are here to stay

Once land of the free and home of the brave

We are a country controlled now by a few

We have taken God out of most everything

A country founded and based on religion too

Is ignorance of the Bible an excuse for it

We seem to be going against God’s word

It is like some have never read the Holy Bible

Or not one word from God they have heard

Wake up America find this country is still free

Pray to God that He will let our country survive

Get back to what this country was founded on

If we want to keep this great land well and alive

My Best Friend

When I climb the mountain to the other side

A wonderful site shall be seen by these eyes

A radiant day will come in a vision I can see

Thanks to God it will not come as a surprise

I will see sites that were only dreams on Earth

Angels will be seen singing their lovely song

Many of the friends who passed on before me

I will know that it is here up in Heaven I belong

No longer will I face Earth’s hardship or misery

All of those old aches and pains shall be past

A new life our loving God will give me up there

A life that will be perfect and will eternally last

When I meet Jesus love I will feel in my heart

Knowing He died in my place because I sinned

It is wonderful to know this is my home forever

How happy that I know Jesus is my best friend

If We Walk Beside The Devil

If in this life we walk beside the devil

Much pain and suffering come to bear

If we find the path that Jesus walks on

He can ease our burden with His care

No matter how you look at this situation

Only Jesus should come into your mind

That lying devil is deception and deceit

While Jesus is always gentle and kind

Don’t be fooled by the devil’s promises

He will laugh at you when you go to hell

Change your life and avoid that travesty

Trust your Lord as He will treat you well

Jesus will save you from a fiery furnace

While the devil only urges you to do sin

If you follow a path that leads to Heaven

Jesus will open the gates and let you in

A Heavenly Path

I know He walks along beside me

His presence brings me great joy

Never would I want to be by myself

Each minute with Him I really enjoy

We are both a child of our Dear Savior

Cherished and loved by our dear Jesus

He will never turn His back on anyone

He died on that ugly cross for all of us

If you listen to what the Bible tells you

You can spend an eternal life with God

Confess all sins and believe in our Lord

It will be a Heavenly path you have trod

It is a battle with an angry devil we face

He will entice you with his false promise

Don’t let him convince you that he is right

Because all of his promises are baseless

Never End

Storm clouds are seen on the horizon

Imbedded lightning flashes in the sky

Rain is needed but not a flooding rain

But I know God knows the reason why

We feel sorry for ones in Ky and WVa

Knowing the damage floods did there

Terrible that so many were killed in it

They are now in our great Savior’s care

We know not what the future brings to us

I know that we must always be ready to go

Admitting all of our sins and believing in Him

Will show our blessed Lord that we love him so

So when it is time to go to my Eternal home

My Savior will say welcome my faithful friend

You are entering a home that will be forever

It’s a Home where you new life will never end

A Song In My Heart

My heart sings a song about Jesus

Words are so beautiful in its verse

Bringing a tear to roll down my cheek

I want to sing it to the whole universe

Only He can be the Savior of us all

He died to take our sins as if His own

He ascended from the grave to Heaven

After some way He rolled away the stone

His Father created us a place of tranquility

Where all that believe in Him one day will go

If they admit and ask for forgiveness for sins

He did this because our Savior loves us so

Can’t you hear this song from my heart

Its melody is so sweet and beautifully clear

It is a song I want to sing up in Heaven

A song that I want my dear Savior to hear

Wonderful Grace

When we see that final sunset

Life on Earth will be no more

We shall start our trip to Glory

See things we have prayed for

See the brilliance up in Heaven

Where no storm clouds are seen

Know the Master is always there

See the beautiful fields of Green

We have no fears about tomorrow

God will give us a place of rest

Knowing we have a home forever

We have met and passed the test

Love of God is my greatest feeling

No one can ever take God’s place

He will give me a life that is eternal

Filling my soul with wonderful Grace
